How we look after every seat at the table

Our standards

The 121 Club is hosted by BNI® members and follows the spirit of BNI's Givers Gain® philosophy: by helping others, we help ourselves. Whether it's your first lunch or your fiftieth, we ask that you:

• Treat everyone with respect. Be courteous to fellow guests, hosts and venue staff. Discrimination, harassment or intimidation of any kind is not tolerated.
• Give before you ask. Come to learn about other businesses and look for ways to help, not just to sell your own.
• Be honest. Represent yourself, your business and your qualifications truthfully, and only make promises you can keep.
• Follow up on referrals. If someone passes you an introduction, respond promptly and professionally — it's their reputation on the line as well as yours.
• Respect confidentiality. What's shared in conversation about someone's business or clients stays at the table unless they say otherwise.
• Keep it relevant. No hard selling, and please don't add people to mailing lists or marketing without their permission.
• Be on time. Arrive when the lunch starts and let the host know as early as you can if you can no longer attend.

At the venue

We're guests of Chatham Town FC. Please respect the venue, its staff and its rules, and drink responsibly.

If something goes wrong

If you experience or see behaviour that falls short of these standards, speak to a host on the day or get in touch. Every concern is treated in confidence.

Hosts may ask anyone who doesn't keep to this code to leave a lunch, and may decline future bookings.
